Corporate and academic public speaking
Training goals:
Our aim is to teach young professionals and academics how to prepare conference presentations, business project presentation or their PhD defenses. Interactive work with students in smaller groups. Learning rhetoric, voice and body techniques in public speaking through numerous exercises, games, situations and examples. Most of the posture and vocal exercises are derived from the time-proven theater techniques and butoh dance techniques.
Skills acquired on completion of the course:
After this course, PhD students will be able to prepare a structured presentation for different professional occasions and to defend their ideas with confidence, thanks to your physical presence and vocal technique. They will also learn to express themselves with integrity, to argue and to convince their audience. This course will teach them the techniques for successful communication, both face-to-face and via video-conferencing. Speaking in public will become a moment of great pleasure and technical performance.
