Resources available through the University Library, such as databases, search engines, and open archives. By the end of the course, participants will be able to identify, select, and effectively use the most authoritative and relevant research tools for their specific field of study.

Objectives of this course are to know and to use online tools for bibliographic research, with a special focus on the University Library’s discipline-specific tools (databases, search engines, open archives etc.).
At the end of the course students will be able to identify, select and use the most authoritative and relevant sources for their subject.

All mandatory activities (lectures, discussions, exercises) will be delivered online in an asynchronous format. Two in-person meetings are scheduled (one dedicated to presentations and one to feedback/discussion). Attendance at these sessions is optional, though strongly recommended. Online participation can be arranged upon request.

The course will take place from March 16 to April 19, 2026.
All mandatory activities (lectures, discussions, exercises) are online and asynchronous.
Two optional but highly recommended in-person meetings are scheduled - one introductory session and one feedback/discussion session.

To be awarded the CFUs, participants must have completed all the online lessons and activities (quiz and exercises) , and participate in forum discussions.
